Purpose: To provide support to the Human Resource team in a generalist role with varying competencies
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to create clear, concise and professionally written communications
• Excellent organizational and planning skills and the ability to set and meet or exceed deadlines, schedules and goals
• Works effectively in a team environment with people from various disciplines to achieve goals and identify and resolve problems
• Able to manage all confidential information in a discrete, appropriate and professional manner
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, power point and Outlook
• 2 + years’ experience in an office environment, with manufacturing experience

• General HR functions, Recruitment focus, Payroll, H&S and employee relations – back up and assistance for HR in Shared Services
• Project Management (i.e., HRIS, Engagement Survey)
• Change Champion
• Research ie. Legal, best practices, government grants
• Organize confidential Human Resources files / compliance
• Data entry of employee information within the HRIS / confidential environment
• Event Planning (social committee and HR Teamwork)
• Support Health and Safety with paperwork, filing, scanning etc.
• Other HR duties and administrative tasks as required
Educational Requirements:
• Preferred bilingual French/English
• Preferred post-secondary education in Business or Human Resources.
